Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited surgical technology program.
• Two years of experience as a surgical technologist or first assistant.
• BLS certification at hire or within 30 days; CST or CSFA required from NBSTA or NCCT.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room according to procedures and ensure sterile setups.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing sterile supplies and requesting equipment.
• Maintain supplies, equipment readiness, and coordination with nursing and other departments.
