Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program.
• 2 years of experience preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• CST or CSFA certification required from NBSTA or NCCT.

Responsibilities

• Ensure supplies and equipment are ready for each procedure.
• Prepare OR and sterile setups; maintain instrument trays.
• Scrub for major procedures and assist surgeons as needed.
• Educate and mentor staff; stay updated on trends.
