Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Frisco is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Day Surgery unit. This part-time role (3 shifts weekly) supports licensed nurses, helps with patient care, and ensures comfort and safety.

You will collect patient data, record vital signs, assist with ADLs, respond to call lights, and help with admissions, transfers, and discharges while adhering to hospital policies. BLS is required or obtained within 30 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year of healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect and record patient data, record vital signs and help with ADLs.
• Answer call lights and complete patient rounds.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge paperwork.
• Assist with personal hygiene and patient clean up.
• Follow Baylor Scott and White policies and procedures.
