Qualifications

• Graduation from a surgical technology program or a combination of education and directly related work experience.
• Upon hire: Washington Surgical Technologist Registration
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire: Certified Surgical Technologist
• Experience as surgical technologist in an acute care facility.

Responsibilities

• Participates as a member of the perioperative nursing team and performs indirect perioperative tasks for patients across age groups.
• UnderRN guidance, may transport patients, second assist and serve as a technical expert for the surgical service.
