Job summary

Providence Swedish Edmonds is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our perioperative team. Under the guidance of a registered nurse, you will perform indirect perioperative tasks for patients across pediatric to geriatric populations undergoing surgical and endoscopy procedures, and may transport patients, provide second assisting, and act as a technical expert for the service.

Qualifications

Must have completed a Surgical Technology program or an education/work-experience combo in surgical technology.
Must obtain Washington Surgical Technologist Registration upon hire.
Must obtain National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
Must hold Certified Surgical Technologist credential upon hire.
Experience as a surgical technologist in an acute care facility is required.

Responsibilities

Participates as a member of the perioperative nursing team and performs indirect perioperative tasks for pediatric to geriatric patients undergoing surgical or endoscopy procedures.
May be assigned to transport patients, provide second assisting, and serve as a technical expert for a surgical service.
