Providence Swedish Edmonds is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the perioperative nursing team. Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you will perform indirect perioperative tasks and may transport patients, provide second assist, and act as a technical expert for surgical services.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a surgical technology program OR equivalent educ/experience.
• Upon hire: Washington Surgical Technologist Registration.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart.
• Prior experience as surgical technologist in an acute care facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist under RN guidance in perioperative care for diverse patient ages.
• Transport patients, second assisting, and serve as technical expert for surgical service.

Education

Surgical Technology program (or equivalent education/experience)

Washington Surgical Technologist Registration

NBSTSA Certification (preferred)
