Job summary

Providence Swedish Edmonds is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join a perioperative team under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will assist with indirect perioperative tasks across pediatric to geriatric patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Responsibilities include patient transport, second assisting, and acting as a technical expert for the surgical service. Prior acute care experience and state registration are required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a surgical technology program or equivalent educ/experience.
• Washington Surgical Technologist Registration at hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association at hire.
• Prior experience as surgical technologist in an acute care facility.

Responsibilities

• Participate as a member of the perioperative nursing team and perform indirect perioperative tasks.
• Transport patients, second assisting, and serve as a technical expert for a surgical service.
• Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, support pediatric to geriatric surgical patients.
