Job summary

WellStar Health System is seeking a Surgical Technologist Non-Certified to assist in the Main Operating Room, Kennestone. The role supports the surgical team in providing safe, age-appropriate patient care with moderate to high-acuity cases. Shift: Day, 7a-3p with on-call responsibilities; sign-on bonus eligible.

Responsibilities include preparing the operative suite, maintaining sterile technique, and assisting with instrument setup, counts, and post-procedure duties in a dynamic OR environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in operating room sterile technique and instrument handling.
• Ability to support surgical team with case preparation and instrument handling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operative suite and sterile field.
• Set up sterile table with instruments and supplies.
• Pass instruments to surgeon and anticipate needs during procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist in draping and gowning.
• Assist in post-procedure duties and instrument sterilization.
