Parkland Health Ambulatory Surgery Center in Dallas is seeking a Surgical Technologist for day shift (PRN). You will prepare operating rooms, assist during routine to complex surgeries, and maintain documentation to meet OR and PHHS standards.

Ideal candidates have completed an accredited surgical technology program, hold certification, CPR, and 24 CEU hours; two years of OR experience preferred. Flexibility for varying hours is required.

Formación

• Education in surgical technology from an accredited program.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist by NBSTSA or NCTC or approved program.
• CPR with current card and 24 CEU hours in a specialty area.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare operating rooms for surgery and ensure supplies are ready.
• Assist the surgical team during routine to complex procedures as scrub or circulator.
• Maintain documentation ensuring compliance with OR and PHHS requirements.
• Demonstrate aseptic techniques and communicate effectively with staff.
