Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Certified Surgical Tech (CVOR CST) with strong scrub experience and vascular CVOR proficiency for a 13-week assignment in the Columbus area. Requires 5+ years CST, 2+ years cardiac/vascular, 1 year CVOR, and trauma facility exposure. BLS certified; travel and locals welcome.

Schedule includes 40 hours/week, day shifts, with on-call and varied start times. Preferred expertise includes CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacement, and CVOR instrument reprocessing.

Qualifications

• Scrub experience required.
• Endovascular experience (hard stop requirement).
• Familiarity with general OR vascular CVOR procedures including CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacement.
• Experience with cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist CVOR cases as scrub tech for CABG, EVAR, TEVAR and related CVOR procedures.
• Maintain aseptic technique and accurate instrument/documentation for patient charts.
• Reprocess cardiovascular/thoracic instruments according to SOPs.
• Support team with 40-hour week schedule and flexible shift times.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are available and functioning.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years total CST experience
• 2+ years in cardiac and vascular
• 1 year CVOR experience
• 1 year in a Level I Trauma facility

License: Valid state license required

Description:Certified Surgical Tech (CVOR) Scrub is required.First-time travelers are accepted.Locals are accepted.RN professionals who scrub will also be considered.The schedule consists of 40 hours per week.Shifts may occur anytime between 6:30 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., based on staffing needs.Weekend rotation will be distributed equitably among staff members.On-call duties are included as part of the contract.Call hours will vary with each schedule.Experience with aseptic technique is essential.Candidates should be proficient in equipment documentation and charting systems, specifically EPIC.Experience with the following procedures is preferred: abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, angioplasty/stenting, and others as listed.Ability to handle a variety of surgical equipment is necessary.Experience in trauma settings is crucial.
