Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Surgical Tech (CVOR CST) for a 13-week assignment in Colorado. The role focuses on working within a heart team to support CVOR procedures, including CABG, AAA, TAVR and valve replacements. Must have current acute CVOR experience, BLS, DORA and NBSTA certifications, and Open Heart proficiency.

The day shift operates with two RNs and one CST; night shift with one RN and one CST. Candidates should be flexible, team-oriented, and able to communicate effectively with staff

Responsibilities

• Serve as CVOR CST in a heart team setting and assist during surgeries.
• Support cardiovascular procedures such as CABG, AAA, TAVR, and valve replacements.
• Work with day shift teams of 2 RNs and 1 CST; night shift with 1 RN and 1 CST.
• Collaborate with staff and physicians to ensure patient safety and smooth workflow.
• Flexibility for travel experience in large facilities may be considered.

Description:The role involves working as a CVOR CST in a heart team setting.The unit consists of teams that include 2 RNs and 1 CST Tech during the day shift.Night shifts have teams of 1 RN and 1 CST Tech.The unit supports a variety of cardiovascular procedures such as CABG, AAA, TAVR, and valve replacements.Candidates should be flexible, confident, and able to work well in a team environment.Patient experience and strong communication with staff and providers are priorities.Call requirements will vary based on need and staffing and will be discussed during the interview.Weekends are not required.Consideration will be given to candidates with prior experience traveling as a CVOR Tech in large trauma facilities.Familiarity with Meditech is preferred but not mandatory.
