Cynet Health is seeking a Surgical Tech for CVOR CST to support cardiovascular surgeries in a busy CVOR. The role requires scrubbing cases and assisting the surgical team while maintaining aseptic technique and careful specimen handling.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year CVOR experience with BLS and NBSTSA certifications; ACLS preferred. This 13-week day shift position includes on-call responsibilities and adherence to universal protocols.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Surgical Technology program or equivalent military training.
• BLS certification required; NBSTSA certification required.
• Experience in CVOR settings preferred.

Description:CVOR Tech is responsible for assisting in surgical procedures.The role requires scrubbing cases and supporting the surgical team.Attention to detail and adherence to aseptic techniques are essential.The position involves on-call responsibilities which will be discussed during the interview.The call requirements for vascular cases are 7 to 10 days, including weekends.For heart cases, the call is 10 to 15 days with weekend coverage included.Candidates must demonstrate competency in various surgical procedures.Experience in handling and labeling specimens is preferred.Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is important.Candidates must have successful completion of a Surgical Technology program or equivalent military training.This role does not involve circulating but may involve assisting nursing staff in the room if needed.Compliance with universal protocols is mandatory.Additional skills may be required based on the specific cases handled.All time off requests must be submitted in advance for consideration.
