Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Certified Surgical Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Virginia. The position requires a VA state license, BLS and NBSTSA/NCCT or military OR Tech certification, with 1 year of OR experience and preference for ortho, vascular, and gynecology exposure.

Shifts are 12 hours (7 AM–7 PM) with call responsibilities and weekend rotations. First-time travelers welcome, but local candidates will not be considered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of OR experience; ortho/vascular/gyn preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 to 19:00, schedule includes 3 shifts per week.
• Be prepared for travel assignment as first-time travelers accepted; verify licensure transfer.
• Float within skillset as needed and participate in call rotations as required.
• Assist in general, ortho, vascular and gyn procedures under supervision; adhere to facility policies.

Description:Position available for an OR Tech.Schedule consists of 3 shifts of 12 hours each from 7 AM to 7 PM.Call rotation with staff is required, including 4-5 calls on weekdays per 6 weeks and possibly one weekend call.Weekend rotations are necessary.ALL requests for time off must be included during the application submission.The facility can call off 1 shift every 2 weeks.One holiday must be worked during the 13-week contract term.First-time travelers are accepted, but no local candidates will be considered.Clinical skills required include strong experience in general, ortho (total joints), vascular, and gyn procedures.Travelers who hold an out-of-state license are required to obtain the state license.Medical and religious exemptions only for COVID-19 and flu vaccines are permitted.Candidates must be committed to the start date provided in their application.Compliance documents are due prior to the start date.
