Job summary

The Surgical Tech will prep ORs, maintain sterile fields, scrub cases and support the surgical team in a fast-paced environment, with BLS certification required and CST preferred for advancement.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist or completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist training program.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to multi-task and work well in a team environment.
• Detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operating rooms are ready for surgery, including all case-specific supplies and equipment sterile and ready for use.
• Monitor sterile field throughout procedure.
• Scrub for cases, anticipate the needs of the physician and operating team.
