Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Associates in Surgical Technology preferred.
• ≥10 months surgical tech experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• Certified Surgical Technician certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs and provides instruments, sutures and other sterile supplies during surgical procedures; maintains a sterile field.
• Prepares for procedures by pulling instruments and supplies and ensuring working order; returns instruments to decontamination/CSP.
• Participates as a health care team member; guides new staff.
• Restocks and cleans Operating Rooms and equipment; maintains a clean, safe work area.
