Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Current Surgical Technologist certification (CST) preferred or required per state regulations.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent CVOR experience.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical instrumentation and procedures.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the cardiovascular operating room.
• Ensure instruments and equipment are functioning properly.
• Anticipate the needs of surgeons during procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection prevention.
• Assist with cardiovascular surgeries like CABG and valve replacements.
