Job summary

Intermountain Health in Miles City, Montana offers an Apprenticeship Program to become a Surgical Technologist. The program combines on-site classwork at Holy Rosary Hospital with clinical rotations in Intermountain Hospitals, under supervision, preparing you for the TS-C certification.

Class hours run Monday–Friday, with 36 hours per week of on-site training. Pay starts at $21.65/hour for the first 3–4 months, then increases to $22.51/hour as you progress toward graduation.

Responsibilities

• Attends Intermountain Health and Apprenticeship Program orientations and completes all required paperwork.
• Maintains sterile field and operating room readiness.
• Assists the surgical team during procedures under supervision.
• Cleans room and prepares for next procedure after completion.
• Completes required class work, labs and externship training with passing grades.
