Qualifications

• Must be accepted into Intermountain/SLCC apprenticeship or Intermountain Health Surgical Technology apprenticeship program and meet all prerequisites.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers required.
• Candidate must speak, read and write in English; legally able to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Attend apprenticeship orientations and complete all required paperwork before starting.
• Attend departmental trainings and complete required trainings and testing on time.
• Complete all mandatory training as assigned.
• Maintain good performance and attendance per program expectations.
• Ensure operating room and instruments meet disinfection and sterilization criteria.
