Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

• Assemble supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures.
• Prepare sterile instrument tables.
• Prepare patient skin for surgery following hospital standards.
• Maintain aseptic techniques and monitor for breaches.
• Position patients according to the type of surgery.
• Assist the surgical team by passing instruments, sponges, and sutures.
• Maintain work area cleanliness and sterilization processes.
• Follow Standard Precautions with personal protective equipment.

What you will need in this role:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate of a Surgical Scrub Tech Program.
• 1-3 years of recent acute care OR Tech experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Orthopedic and Neuro experience is helpful.
