Job summary

Ascension Saint Alexius in Hoffman Estates, IL, is seeking a part-time OR support technician for night shifts. You will organize sterile supplies, assist with patient positioning and draping, and provide instruments to the surgeon during procedures.

The role emphasizes meticulous instrument tracking, clinical teamwork, and adherence to safety standards. BLS is preferred, and a relevant education path or experience is required.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider preferred (AHA or Red Cross accepted).
• High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable experience required.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
