Beth Israel Lahey Health’s Exeter Hospital seeks a Surgical Tech to assist the surgical team before, during, and after procedures. The role emphasizes sterile technique, instrument handling, and close collaboration with the circulating RN and surgeon in a community hospital setting on the Seacoast.

Qualified candidates have post-secondary training, CPR within 90 days, and Medical Tech Registration, with experience in preparing equipment, maintaining sterile fields, and supporting the team

Responsibilities

• Prepares equipment and instruments on back table and Mayo stand using sterile technique.
• Assists surgeon with gowning, gloving, draping, and instrument handling.
• Cuts suture material and retracts tissue as directed by surgeon.
• Maintains sterile field and assists as second circulator when needed.
• Picks cases and updates preference cards.

Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
