Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is seeking a Patient Transporter to support nursing staff and ensure safe patient movement within the hospital. No prior experience is required, but a High School Diploma or equivalent and Basic Life Support certification are required.

This full-time position offers daytime shifts, 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm, with reporting to the RN/Nurse Manager. You will transport patients and, when needed, blood and documentation to maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• No prior experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from surgery.
• Check patient records for required documentation.
• Perform CPR when necessary.
• Transport blood as necessary.
• Assist nursing staff in daily tasks.

Responsibilities

Provides general non-technical assistance to nursing staff members. Transport patients to and from surgery and checks patients' medical records for required documentation. Performs cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) (when necessary). Transports blood (as necessary).

Schedule: Full-Time 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm
