Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) is seeking a Patient Transport Aide to support nursing staff with non-technical tasks and patient movement within the hospital.

Shift options include 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm, and no prior experience is required; Basic Life Support certification is required and all employment is contingent upon background checks and screenings.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum: No previous experience necessary.
• Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides general non-technical assistance to nursing staff members.
• Transports patients to and from surgery and checks patients' medical records for required documentation.
• Performs CPR when necessary.
• Transports blood as necessary.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

Provides general non-technical assistance to nursing staff members. Transport patients to and from surgery and checks patients' medical records for required documentation. Performs cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) (when necessary). Transports blood (as necessary).

Schedule: Full-Time 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm

Reports: RN/Nurse Manager (JC: 031001) or RN/Assistant Nurse Manager (JC: 030303)
