Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, Inc. is seeking an experienced RN leader to manage clinical operations and nurse staffing in a 772-bed acute care setting.

You will mentor nursing teams, ensure evidence-based patient care, and oversee resource allocation while upholding I CARE values and patient safety.

Licensed RNs with 2–5 years of experience and BLS/CPR certification are required; a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Two to five years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Florida RN license is required; multistate compact licensure accepted.
• BLS/CPR certification required; other life support may be required by the work area.

Qualifications

Required Education:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing

Required Experience:

• Two (2) to five (5) years experience as a Registered Nurse

Required Certification/License/Registry:

• Licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in accordance with Florida Statutes (FS), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 464 (Nursing), Part I (Nurse Practice Act) [includes multistate compact licensure].
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from an accredited American Heart Association (AHA) instructor.
• Other specialized life support requirements designated by work area.

• Responsible for clinical and personnel management in addition to being clinically proficient in-patient care.
• Responsible for efficient and cost-effective allocation of resources.
• Leads, mentors, and role models for other health care team members; supervises directly RN/Clinical Nurses NAC, RN/Flex Staff Nurses NAC, Licensed Practical Nurses NAC, and Patient Care Assistants.
• Derives and validates diagnoses; identifies expected outcomes; develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans; and evaluates progress toward outcomes attainment.
• Uses evidence-based practices and information technologies while focusing on providing comfort, relieving pain, and alleviating anxiety.
• Initiates and implements new knowledge of nursing practice changes that are evidence based.
• Participates in and assists staff members with completing ongoing unit-based competencies.
• Respects patients’ rights, dignity, values, confidentiality, and expressed needs; integrates ethics in all practice areas.
• Holds self and others accountable for adherence to conduct standards, policies, and procedures.
