Mountain State Oral & Facial Surgery in West Virginia seeks a dental assistant to support doctors and staff with patient discharge, operatory setup, and recovery room duties. Responsibilities include stocking supplies, preparing anesthesia-related materials, and handling post-operative communications.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, and a dental assisting certificate is preferred.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certificate in dental assisting and/or surgical assisting preferred.
• Ability to function in fast paced and/or stressful work environment.
• Must adhere to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
• Must maintain confidentiality.

Responsabilidades

• Stock ice packs and prepare recovery room supplies.
• Prepare gauze and syringes for patient use.
• Assist with patient discharge and escort process.
• Help set up operatory for upcoming surgeries and clean between patients.
• Assist with local anesthesia surgeries if trained.
• Assist central team with production of surgical trays.
• Answer post-op calls and log patient callbacks.
• Maintain patient flow and complete additional duties as assigned by clinical manager.
