Mountain State Oral & Facial Surgery is seeking a skilled Surgical Assistant to join our team of oral and maxillofacial surgeons. This role supports surgeons during procedures, maintains patient safety, and helps manage efficient workflow in a high-standard clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications preferred.
• Dental/surgical assisting certification preferred.
• DAANCE, Nitrous Oxide (N2O) and CPR certifications required.
• Prior experience in surgical assisting or related healthcare role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures.
• Perform diagnostic imaging, including X-rays, as needed.
• Review and document patient medical histories.
• Ensure all required consent forms are properly completed and signed.
• Prepare and process patient prescriptions with accuracy.
