Mountain State Oral & Facial Surgery in West Virginia seeks a dedicated dental assistant to support doctors and staff, assist with patient discharge, and maintain clean, organized operatory rooms. You will prepare recovery materials, help with post-op calls, and assist with surgeries as trained.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certificate in dental assisting and/or surgical assisting preferred.
• Maintain training and continuing education requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities are expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to doctors and assistants and assist with patient discharge.
• Stock ice packs, assemble recovery bags, and prepare patient home packets.
• Keep operatory rooms clean and set up for upcoming surgeries.
• Assist with local anesthesia surgeries if trained and help with surgical trays.
• Handle post-op calls, log blood pressures, and ensure same-day callbacks.
• Maintain confidentiality and support patient flow and front office duties.
