Baptist Health Princeton Hospital is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to maintain daily procedural supply inventory and support cost-effective stocking, using Lawson, Epic and Excel to capture spend and utilization data. The role emphasizes accurate requisitions, vendor coordination, par level management, and collaboration with nursing operations to ensure uninterrupted supplies for OR and specialty areas.

• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provides supply management for OR/Specialty areas through maintaining, monitoring, adjusting, and supply replenishment of inventory areas, processing requisitions, tracking/expediting of orders, and assisting with new product requests and conversions.
• Processes consignment requisitions accurately and timely including contract verification.
• Effectively works with vendors on un-authorized supplies, documentation issues and/or revised pricing.
• Assists with improving efficiencies and reducing cost; evaluates and adjusts par levels for cost effectiveness.
• Maintains order guides/par areas, organizes storeroom/supply areas and labeling systems for efficient ordering.
• Works with corporate for item add/activations, contract issues, and Epic item integrity.
• Processes non-stock order requisitions accurately and timely; follows up with purchasing.
• Reviews procedural area schedule for future cases needing special supplies.
• Drives conversions to completion and coordinates new product trials.
• Collaborates in tissue tracking system as agreed with facility/market.
• Participates in meetings to meet department goals and communicates with the procedural team.
• Oversees recall notifications and coordinates with procurement for returns where applicable.
• Performs daily reviews of on-hand quantities and physician needs.
