Job summary

Tampa General Hospital seeks a Materials Management Statistical Coordinator 1 to oversee the movement, control, and availability of specialty supplies and implants for the Sterile Processing & Distribution Department. You will coordinate ordering, receiving, put-away, PAR levels, and case readiness to support safe, timely patient care.

Under leadership guidance, you analyze basic data trends for inventory planning and ensure the right supplies are available at the right time.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years progressive Healthcare Supply Chain and/or Surgical Specialty experience
• Completion of department approved Medical Terminology course
• Completion of Sterile Technique in-service and/or course
• Completion of PeopleSoft Finance Supply Chain Management Mindlab course

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ordering, receiving, put-away, and PAR level management
• Manage urgent supply needs, recalls, and returns
• Support inventory planning with basic data collection and trend analysis
• Collaborate with Leadership to ensure supplies are available for each case
