Job summary

Tampa General Hospital is seeking a Materials Management Statistical Coordinator at its Crystal River facility to ensure timely distribution of supplies to Surgical Services and maintain accurate inventory. The role handles receiving, inspecting, storing, and distributing materials, governs par cart inventories, and enforces consistent item numbering across stock and non-stock items.

Responsibilities

Distributes supplies and equipment to Surgical Services.
Receives, unboxes, inspects and distributes incoming material and supplies to Surgical Services from Materials to sterile area as directed within defined time frames.
Manages inventory of par carts within the department to ensure adequate supplies are available.
Ensures item numbers are utilized on all products used throughout the department, both stock and non-stock.
Maintains a clean and organized storeroom, ensuring overstock is pulled down and FIFO is followed.
Provides clerical support and has basic knowledge of computer skills.
Performs other duties as assigned.
