Job summary

Responsibilities

• Receives, unboxes, inspects and distributes incoming material and supplies to Surgical Services from Materials to sterile area as directed within defined time frames.
• Manages inventory of par carts within the department to ensure adequate supplies are available.
• Ensures item numbers are utilized on all products used throughout the department, both stock and non-stock.
• Maintains a clean and organized storeroom, ensuring overstock is pulled down and FIFO is followed.
• Provides clerical support and has basic knowledge of computer skills.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Performs a variety of tasks associated with distribution of supplies and equipment to Surgical Services. Receives, unbox, inspects and distributes incoming material, supplies and equipment to Surgical Services from Materials to sterile area as directed within defined time frames. Responsible for inventory management of par carts within the department to ensure adequate supplies are available. Responsible for ensuring item numbers are utilized on all products used throughout the department, both stock and non-stock. Provides clerical support and has basic knowledge of computer skills are required. Maintains a clean and organized storeroom, insuring overstock is pulled down and perform FIFO (first in first out). All other duties as assigned.
