Hartford HealthCare is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Surgical Subspecialties team at Backus Hospital. The Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) will be an essential part of the multidisciplinary team that plans and delivers care for a wide variety of surgical patients spanning general, colorectal, bariatrics, vascular, thoracic, plastics, gynecologic-oncology, and neurosurgery.

Open to Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible).
• Physician Assistant trained (PA).

Responsibilities

• APP-led team manages surgical inpatients, admissions and consultations, operative first-assist, and bedside procedures.
