Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Surgical Stepdown unit to provide complex post-surgical care, closely monitor vital signs and telemetry, administer medications, and manage wounds and drains. You will collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to develop and implement individualized care plans, educate patients and families, and support safe discharge.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Experience in post-surgical care preferred.
• Ability to monitor telemetry and administer medications.

Responsibilities

• Provide complex post-surgical care and manage wounds and drains.
• Closely monitor vital signs and telemetry.
• Administer medications and support patient recovery.
• Collaborate with the care team to implement individualized care plans.
