Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state where practicing.
• Experience in surgical stepdown or related post-anesthesia care is preferred.
• Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide complex post-surgical care to patients on the Surgical Stepdown unit.
• Closely monitor vital signs and telemetry, respond to changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications as ordered and manage wounds and drains.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to develop care plans.
• Educate patients and families; support safe discharge planning.
