Qualifications

• Completion of a two-year nursing program.
• Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse license.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification required; ACLS and PALS recommended.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients and families.
• Proficient in documenting patient data and care plans.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient health data with patient, family and care team.
• Perform initial patient assessment and document care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Coordinate discharge planning with care team.
• Deliver nursing care in alignment with physician orders.
• Ensure patient safety and quality of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs.
