Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Surgical Step-Down unit, working 36 hours per week. In this role, you will provide patient-centered care for intermediate surgical patients in the Critical Care unit, ensuring high-quality nursing care.

Qualifications

• Active or pending Massachusetts RN license, or ability to obtain one.
• 1+ year RN experience preferred.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required in certain units.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in the Critical Care unit.
• Communicate effectively with health-care team members.
• Coordinate and delegate patient care activities.
• Update and manage patient records.
• Assist leadership team with quality improvement projects.
