Job summary

CommonSpirit Health’s Dignity Health – Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott seeks a Surgical Services Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, high-quality perioperative care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery.

Relocation assistance is available for new hires; the role requires an Associate Degree in Nursing, AZ RN license, ACLS & BLS, and at least 9 months of RN experience in general or skilled nursing.

Qualifications

• Associate degree of Nursing.
• Nine (9) months of general or skilled Registered Nurse experience.
• Valid compact state or Arizona RN license.
• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider (BLS).
• Demonstrates competency in basic EKG skills by passing the EKG test or completing basic EKG class/modules within six (6) months of position.

Responsibilities

• Performs assessment/data collection in an ongoing systematic manner focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual and cognitive status; includes nutrition, pain, education, and advocacy.
• Formulates a goal-directed plan of care based on nursing diagnoses and patient outcomes.
• Implements care in a thorough, skilled, and consistent manner.
• Establishes priorities for patient care based on needs and available resources.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by the health care team.
