Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Surgical Services Registered Nurse (RN) at the Yavapai Regional Medical Center network in Prescott, AZ. You will provide compassionate, high-quality perioperative care, perform assessments, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

The role emphasizes urgent critical thinking, patient-first care, and professional growth in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Qualifications

Associate degree of Nursing is required.
Nine (9) months of general or skilled RN experience are required.
Valid compact state or Arizona RN license is required.
ACLS certification is required.
BLS certification is required for healthcare providers.
Demonstrates competency in basic EKG skills by passing the EKG test or completing basic EKG class/modules within six months.

Responsibilities

Performs ongoing patient assessments across physiologic, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual and cognitive domains.
Forms goal-directed care plans and prioritizes patient outcomes.
Implements care thoroughly and consistently.
Establishes priorities based on patient needs and available resources.
Evaluates care effectiveness with the health care team.
