Dignity Health - Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott, AZ seeks a Surgical Services Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care and support patient recovery.

You will collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to provide individualized care, perform skilled procedures, and implement care plans. A patient-first mindset and strong assessment skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree of Nursing.
  • Nine (9) months of general or skilled RN experience.
  • Valid compact state or Arizona RN license.
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider.
  • Demonstrates competency in basic EKG skills within six (6) months of position

Responsabilités

  • Performs assessment/data collection focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual and cognitive status; includes nutrition, pain, education, family involvement, and advocacy.
  • Formulates a goal-directed plan of care based on nursing diagnosis and patient outcomes.
  • Implements care in a thorough, skillful manner.
  • Establishes priorities for patient care based on essential needs and available resources.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by the health care team.

As our Surgical Services Registered Nurse (RN) , you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. You will be expected to collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes.To be successful in this role, you must possess keen assessment skills, acute critical thinking, and a patient-first mindset, driven by a profound enthusiasm to help others.   • Performs assessment/data collection in an ongoing systematic manner, focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual and cognitive status; also nutrition, pain, patient/family education, family involvement, and patient advocacy.
  • Formulates a goal-directed plan of care that is prioritized and based on determined nursing diagnosis and patient outcomes.
  • Implements care in a thorough, skillful, and consistent manner.
  • Establishes priorities for patient care based on essential patient needs and available unit resources of time, personnel, equipment, and supplies.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of care given by health care team members.

We are offering $10k relocation assistance to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Job Requirements
Required
  • Associate degree of Nursing
  • Nine (9) months of general or skilled Registered Nurse experience
  • Valid compact state or Arizona RN license
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider
  • Demonstrates competency in basic EKG skills by passing the EKG test or completing basic EKG class/modules within six (6) months of position
Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • One (1) year circulating or combination of scrub and circulating experience
  • CVOR experience preferred for the Cardiac Surgery Service Team
