Reporting to the Nurse Manager, you will collaborate with physicians and inter-disciplinary teams to assess needs and coordinate care throughout the surgical experience.

Responsibilities

• Practice Standards: Adheres to hospital policies, ANA standards of practice, and nursing code of ethics.
• Mentoring/Teaching: Precepts new employees and supports ongoing learning.
• Delegation: Assigns tasks appropriately and monitors staff utilization.
• Assessment: Performs comprehensive patient assessments and documents findings.
• Prioritization/Organization: Manages priorities and makes clinical decisions.
• Planning/Implementation: Communicates hand-offs and develops care plans.
