Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing required.
• BSN or Five (5) years management or supervisory experience in lieu of BSN required.
• MSN highly preferred.
• Current California Registered Nursing license.
• BCLS required.
• At least five (5) years acute care experience with progressive leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and evaluates work to promote quality nursing and patient care.
• Plans staffing within budgeting parameters; ensures continuity of care and patient acuity.
• Collaborates with support services to provide a safe, clean and secure environment.
• Promotes interdepartmental communication and access to policies and guidelines.
• Acts as a clinical resource for nursing staff and coordinates medical and nursing management.
• Leads recruitment events and participates in Magnet designation strategies.
• Communicates policies to nursing staff and maintains interdepartmental harmony.
