Job summary

YRMC in Prescott Valley is seeking a Cardiac Diagnostics Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high‑quality care for patients requiring cardiac assessment and monitoring. You will perform skilled procedures, develop care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support recovery and outcomes.

Required ASN, AZ RN license, one year of cardiac monitoring experience, and competency in basic EKG skills. BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

Qualifications

• ASN is required; AZ RN license.
• At least 1 year of cardiac monitoring experience.
• Competency in basic EKG skills (pass EKG test or basic class/modules).
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Performs ongoing systematic assessments, focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual and cognitive status; includes nutrition, pain, education, family involvement and advocacy.
• Formulates a goal-directed plan of care based on nursing diagnosis and patient outcomes.
• Implements care in a thorough, skillful and consistent manner.
• Establishes priorities for patient care based on essential needs and available resources.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by health care team members.
