Job summary

Baptist Health is hiring a Surgical Services Unit Educator to develop clinical excellence, support staff growth, and advance patient care quality in Surgical Services. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate educational programs for the unit and act as a clinical resource, educator, and change agent partnering with leaders for orientation and competency validation.

Qualifications

• RN licensure active; BCLS, ACLS, and PALS required within 90 days of hire.
• CNOR required within 12 months of hire.
• BSN degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of related work experience.
• AORN and ASPAN membership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff education, orientation, and competency programs within Surgical Services.
• Support clinical excellence through training, evidence-based practice, and professional development.
• Partner with leadership to drive quality, safety, compliance, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a resource for clinical practice, equipment, technology, and workflow changes.
• Maintain clinical expertise and provide direct support to Surgical Services as needed.
