Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an experienced RN Mentor to develop and implement a mentorship model for nursing staff. The role involves serving as a leader, educator, and clinician, delivering education, and guiding staff through career development within a collaborative health system.

The Mentor will work with unit Educators and Nursing Leadership to assess needs, participate in orientation, and provide patient care as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a mentorship model for nursing staff.
• Make rounds to meet with clinical nurses and oversee less experienced staff.
• Prepare and deliver nursing education lectures and case studies.
• Collaborate with unit Educators, Preceptors and Nursing Leadership.
• Provide patient care in areas where needed to support the unit team.
• Partner with Directors to optimize mentorship and patient outcomes.
