Job summary

You will design competency-based programs, mentor nurses at all career stages, and collaborate across disciplines to integrate evidence-based practices.

You will lead onboarding, needs assessments, and emergency preparedness training, while aligning with Joint Commission standards and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• MSN preferred.
• MA RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS are required; BLS instructor preferred.
• CNOR, ONC or ANPD certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver and evaluate OR education programs and competency modules.
• Conduct needs assessments and develop education plans for staff.
• Lead onboarding, orientation, and emergency preparedness training.
• Incorporate research and evidence-based practice into program development.
• Collaborate with OR managers, central education, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Lead councils, committees, and task forces to improve patient safety and outcomes.
