Job summary

Baptist Health in Kentucky is seeking a Surgical Services Unit Educator to lead clinical education, shape staff development, and advance quality patient care in the Surgical Services department.

The educator will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate education programs, partner with leaders, and serve as a resource for practice, equipment, and workflow changes while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure required.
• Must obtain BCLS, ACLS, and PALS within 90 days of hire.
• CNOR required within 12 months of hire.
• BSN is required.
• Minimum three years of related clinical education experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff education, orientation, and competency programs within Surgical Services.
• Support clinical excellence through training, evidence-based practice, and professional development.
• Partner with leadership to drive quality, safety, compliance, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a resource for clinical practice, equipment, technology, and workflow changes.
• Maintain clinical expertise and provide direct support to Surgical Services as needed.
