Qualifications

• READING - Intermediate: ability to read and interpret documents such as operating manuals.
• WRITING - Basic: ability to write simple correspondence.
• SPEAKING - Basic: ability to speak simple sentences.
• MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Basic: add/subtract two-digit numbers, multiply/divide by 10s/100s, use dollars/weights/volume/distance.
• REASONING ABILITY - Intermediate: apply common sense to written or oral instructions; handle problems with several variables.
• AGE SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES - Knowledge of growth and development related care.

Responsibilities

• Keep assigned areas clean, sanitary and aseptic; mop, scrub, strip, scour, damp-dust, polish and vacuum.
• Assist with efficient turnover of operating rooms.
• Assist with patient transport and positioning under RN direction.
• Manage supplies as assigned.
