Penn State Health in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Surgical Services Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join a fast-paced surgical team. The role supports perioperative and inpatient care with daytime and overnight responsibilities, including rounding, first assistance, and ACS management.

The position emphasizes autonomy, teamwork, and professional growth within a comprehensive surgical services program at Penn State Health Medical Group. Full-time, day/night coverage with varied shifts available.

Qualifikationen

• Master's Degree in Nursing is required.
• National certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
• Current Pennsylvania CRNP license to practice.
• Two (2) years' RN experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Aufgaben

• Inpatient rounding and perioperative/postoperative care; preoperative and postoperative planning and discharge coordination.
• Surgical first assistance and ACS consultations; collaborate with surgeons, nursing, and case management.
• Overnight cross-coverage for Surgical Services, including 24/7 APP access and timely evaluation of hospitalized surgical patients.
• Coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient throughput and continuity of care during hospitalization.

Master's Degree in Nursing

National certification as Advanced Practice Nurse

PA CRNP license

RN 2+ years experience
