Job summary

Avita Health System is seeking a Surgical Scrub Technician for the Galion location. The role supports the surgeon during operative procedures, ensures the operating suite is ready, and helps manage surgical instruments and supplies. You may participate in staff meetings and quality improvement initiatives.

Required: high school diploma and current BLS. Preferred: OR technician certification and an LPN license, with about one year of OR experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Preferred: Certified Operating Room Technician.
• Preferred: LPN license.

Responsibilities

• Assists surgeon during operative and invasive procedures.
• Ensures operating suite is prepared for procedure.
• Monitor PAR level of all surgical instruments and supplies.
• Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
