A regional health system is seeking a dedicated Surgical Scrub Technician at the Galion location. The ideal candidate will assist surgeons during operations, maintain sterilization of instruments, and work collaboratively in a supportive environment. Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS Certification.
• One (1) year of work experience in the Operating Room preferred.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Preferred).
• One year of work experience in the Operating Room (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon during operative and invasive procedures.
• Ensure operating suite is prepared for procedure.
• Monitor and clean surgical instruments.
• Cleans and sterilizes all surgical instruments.
• Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities.

We’re currently seeking a dedicated Surgical Scrub Technician to join our Surgery Department at our Galion location.

Position Overview

Assists surgeon during operative and invasive procedures. Ensures operating suite is adequately prepared for procedure. Monitor PAR level of all surgical instruments and supplies. Cleans and sterilizes all surgical instruments. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS Certification.

Preferred:

• Certified as Operating Room Technician.
• Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• One (1) year of work experience in the Operating Room;
